There’s no shortage of incredible things to do while in Bucks County, PA.

Revel in natural beauty at Nockamixon State Park. Hike through the fall foliage, take in the migratory birds, or enjoy a spring bike ride. And the summer brings on boaters and anglers. The park rents everything from paddle boards and canoes to motorboats.

Put the top down and take a scenic tour of historic covered bridges. The tour is divided into two loops. For the most picturesque spots, check out the Perkasie or Tyler State Park covered bridges.

You don’t have to head to Europe to tour a castle. The Mercer Mile in nearby Doylestown is one of the major attractions in Bucks County and home to Fonthill Castle, the residence of American archaeologist and artifact collector Henry Chapman Mercer. After touring Fonthill, be sure to take in the exhibits at Mercer Museum and The Tileworks.
