Do not go to this university. There is nothing to do here. I was involved in 4 organizations and still could not figure out what to do with free time. There is nothing around the university to do either, you have to drive to Cincinnati if you want to do something. I ended up having to drop out and go home because the environment and lifestyle of nku made my mild depression go to severe and mentally dysfunctional. I hope I never step foot back on that university again.

NKU ruined my life. It made me hate myself and everyone around me. They gave me no support throughout my college experience, they just talked down to me and treated me like a lesser when I was a 3.8 GPA student. I got zero actual help with figuring my life out and I learned basically zero things that were actually helpful, even though I applied myself to the point of several complete mental breakdowns. Now I can’t find any jobs, I have no friends I really keep in touch from it and it’s made me bitter and filled with hatred. So thank you NKU, for being one of the worst most isolating things I have ever had the misfortune of being part of. Thank you for giving me zero guidance and zero help in my future endeavors!!!

Its a very comfortable campus and offers good parking, walkable spaces for class transportation and feels like somewhere anyone could get a good education. However, sometimes things feel disconnected and unfamiliar, but that might just be college life in general.
