We are veterans of Azamara and the R ships having sailed on them for 25 years. The cruise did not disappoint. The itinerary was what we wanted with a lot of late nights and overnights in ports and days at sea on the back end. We were part of the World Cruise on the Onward. The usual things that we love about Azamara were terrific1. surperior service for the crew from our butler to the Captain.

We were on several previous Azamara cruises, and this was our first time on the Onward. However, we think we were on this ship before, when it was part of Princess. We thought that an Azamara cruise was an ideal way to see both New Zealand and Australia. What we didn't realize was that we were sailing on a segment of a "world cruise" and about a third of the passengers were on the much

Back to Azamaea after a few years gap. We were concerned by the reviews on CC for the Journey before we boarded. Totally unfounded, how people could write such untruths is not fair.It was a terrific trip. Good value with basic bar package included.Food was great with many choices and lots of FRESH seafood, vegs, fruits. Everyday dining room menu included steak , seafood, as an option and a

Firstly let me say this, if you are above 70 you may enjoy this cruise. I must say boarding was a simple quick process even though we were not informed of our boarding time prior so we just arrived around 1 pm and once onboard we were not informed that lunch was available at the buffet so therefore we missed out.The food is very bland and servings are very small ( nursing home size ). We had

Booked this Christmas Cruise in October 21 as we had done the same trip in December 18, with the odd different port. Was looking forward to visiting Esperance but that was later removed from the schedule, which gave us an over night in Adelaide. Obviously, since we last sailed on Azamara Journey Royal Caribbean had sold the fleet off to private investors ad Oh boy, didn't it show. The standards

Let me start by saying that the crew and the food were excellent but it was sold on a spend New Year eve on Sydney harbour. Yes we were on the harbour but behind the Sydney harbour bridge moored up at white bay with another cruise ship in front. You only got to see the fireworks with a obstructed view a lot of people were very disappointed and the captain new it because when there was a Q&A with

Azamara dumbs down

We last took this cruise, same company, (nearly) same itinerary, five years ago - and it was, as promised, amazing. Last month we took the same cruise - and what a disappointment. I know the company is under new ownership but one supposes the new owners thought there was value in what they'd bought - so why did they dumb it down? Presumably to extract a bit more profit. Azamara, regrettably, no

We had a wonderful time on the Quest and enjoyed the size of ship as have traveled on the Oceania identical ships. The choice of food and quality were generally excellent though a few meals were cold on delivery. The dining room staff were also excellent most of the times but a few nights the waiting staff were very slow and mucked up the orders. Overall the staff were amazing and couldn’t

Chose this small ship to escape the hordes on previous cruises The ship itself was a comfortable size but didn’t enjoy the rough seas Cabin was ok , plenty of storage but the smallest shower I’ve ever seen !Main dining for dinner was very good and the included wines were of a good standard Lunches in the buffet were ok but not exceptional Breakfast buffet was average at best
