April grew up wanting to become an actress and had the full support of her family – nothing is known about her mother and father, as she prefers to keep them away from the media’s attention. Career of a model and an actress
As she was noticed by modelling scouts while she was still attending college, April got to launch her career of a model before she got into acting; she signed to a prestigious modelling agency based in Manteca, and has since appeared on several cover pages of popular magazines, and posed for a couple of clothing brands and companies. She went on to study drama with another popular actress – Ivana Chubbuck – although she is completely focused on her acting career today, she is still occasionally modelling and attending photo-shoots.
April became somewhat famous thanks to her role of Kandi in the “Two and a Half Men” TV comedy series – it was the first role she auditioned for, and was called three months after to be informed that she had won it.
