I assumed they would be exactly the same besides the frame color & texture since they were priced exactly the same and same size. But upon opening I immediately noticed a quality difference. These white ones have a very simple cardstock backer, and the locking mechanism feels very cheap. The grey woodgrain ones have a thick, sturdy backer with pin-cushioning and better closures. These white ones do the job just fine, especially for personal use, but I wouldn't recommend for making something very special like an heirloom.
